Mission
I have been working in the trenches as a web application developer for a few years now and I have learned a few things. The first is that I love the Open Web. The second is that I hate the Open Web. I think this is a feeling that many will appreciate. The freedom and potential of the Open Web are tantalizing, but despite the heroic efforts of many talented developers, advanced ajax applications are still painful to develop for. In light of proprietary solutions like Flex and Silverlight vying for the web application space, I am frightened of the possibility that the Open Web will quickly fall out of favor. This site represents my own small fight for the Open Web.
